New Book "AI Dating Wars" Examines How Artificial Intelligence is Reshaping Dating (For better or worse)

Tampa - September 1, 2026

TAMPA, FL — Rodney Biddle today announced the upcoming release of his latest book, "AI Dating Wars," an in-depth look at how artificial intelligence has transformed the search for love. From the earliest dating apps to today's AI-driven matchmaking algorithms, fake profiles, and automated conversations, the book traces how AI has reshaped nearly every corner of modern romance — for better and for worse. "AI Dating Wars" examines both sides of the equation: the AI tools helping people find more compatible matches, and the growing wave of AI-generated fake profiles, romance scams, and manipulative "bots in the bedroom" eroding trust across dating platforms. The book also covers the business incentives behind dating apps, the regulatory response now catching up to AI-driven fraud, and a look back at the platforms' own history of betraying user trust. Biddle argues that while AI offers real conveniences, its overall impact on dating has skewed negative — leaving users more vulnerable, not less.

"People assume the danger in online dating is another person lying to you," Biddle said. "Increasingly, it's an algorithm doing the lying — and most people don't realize it." Biddle wrote "AI Dating Wars" alongside the development of his own secured dating website, designed with the very safeguards the book argues are missing from the industry. Details on the platform will be announced soon.
